★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely unpleasant experience.
Today I have booked online for the 4:30pm shuttle from Dunedin central to the airport.
At around 4:00pm, I get a phone call from the driver saying that I have "booked the shuttle in the last minute" and that 4:30pm shuttle is no longer available. In an annoying voice, he asked me to be ready by 4:10pm.
I said the earliest I can make myself available is by around 4:20pm, and then the driver again sounded very annoyed saying that he will be in the other side of the city picking up the rest of the customers, and that he will have to come back all the way etc. etc.
In the end, he said he will sort it out.
By around 4:15pm, I did not hear back from anyone hence decided to call their 0800 number to find out what is going on.
First customer representative who was dealing with the issue decided to hang up in in the middle of my call.
Second customer representative did not provide any explanation about the cancelled 4:30pm shuttle or offer any apologies, but simply said that they had a busy day with lots of customers to pick up. He was suggesting me to ignore the issue and kept asking when I will be ready by.
In the end, I've just cancelled my booking which was responded with a quick "okay sweet." before the phone was hung up.
Extremely unprofessional behaviour even when their system was at fault. I will never be recommending their services to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shocking customer service and experience with this company. Incredibly rude and incompetent driver.
If only Eco Friendly Taxis wasn't owned by the same people - Andre the taxi driver who ended up driving me to my accommodation after being stranded by the shuttle driver I was originally booked with, was incredibly kind and understanding.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Flight was cancelled due to weather when unable to land in Dunedin, so called the company in order to reschedule my shuttle once my plane had returned to its departure location in Wellington and eventually got through to the help desk who were understandably busy considering many of the passengers on my plane would have been attempting to reschedule their shuttle also. Was met with an extremely unhelpful and rude response directing me to their website to rebook online. When I enquired about a transfer of credit/refund I was told this was not possible since the driver was waiting, and he had to be paid, in line with their “policy”. Worth noting that their “policy” which I gather refers to the thrown-together four sentence “terms” tab on their website suggests nothing regarding cancellations. Have now opted for any airport transfer company other than this one and will advise others to do the same. Reading reviews, others seem to have had similar experiences and this company seemingly will continue to do the same. Also worth noting that other times I have taken this service the driver has driven like a raving lunatic seemingly incapable of seeing upcoming speed humps on the road. Wish awarding 0 stars review were possible on this platform.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the worst ride ever. My husband is a truck driver and he said that this drivers driving was terrible. He drove to fast and didn't slow down for any corners. We will not use this service again we would rather hire a car and get to the airport safely

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thanks to Dunedin Airport Shuttles. We missed Air NZ notification of change of flight time. Airport Shuttles noticed and called us. We had already missed the shuttle but they were able to arrange late pick up by taxi. We made the flight. You saved the day.?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The booking was smooth and they responded well to my request for a change of schedule. But the driver...his driving was so rough and scary....he was speeding so high on SH1 that I felt I was going to die should he make just a small mistake. I want to support a local business but I simply do not feel safe with their shuttle service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked this shuttle a few times this year . Found the online booking process very easy . The only frustrating thing is the pickup times have never been correct. Each time we were instructed that the pickup would be between 2.15 pm and 2.45 pm and each they were at least 30 minutes late with the last time 35 minutes late . This extra waiting time makes one nervous thinking they may have been forgotten and standing outside at the bottom of a long drive when it blowing a gale or raining is not a pleasure. On the other hand the drivers are friendly and helpful . The cost is also reasonable. If is wasn’t for this constant lateness I would have scored Dunedin AIRPORT SHUTTLES 5 stars
