★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good food, quality ingredients. Their relishes, sauces and such are top notch! Staff were really friendly. A huge improvement from the last time I was there. Its a very small place, and quite popular, so expect small tables and maybe even waiting a couple of minutes for a table to clear.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fresh amazing baked goods. Really nice staff. I love sitting outside with one of their blankets over my knees. Great coffee and a lot of people come for a takeaway

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Come on guys - a bit of friendly service goes a long way. And your coffee is overpriced. :(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Relatively non-heart-stopping ice coffee, fairly good steak and mushroom pie. Prices high but standards to match.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to sit and good atmosphere but I was served the worst coffee of my life by the gentleman at the espresso machine. Something like burnt motor oil floating on the surface. Had two sips before I had to go home to brush my teeth.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited to see if their food was good, and left feeling as if I was robbed. Older man at the counter was rude, unhelpful, pushy and overall just sour. Wouldn’t give a direct answer to which was the best or most popular, and instead tried to push way too many for the two of us. Obviously we don’t need or even want that much food, especially since we asked for which was the most popular meaning... you guessed it: ONE. Asked multiple times and he still refused to be helpful. In the end one of the kitchen hand staff answered from behind him, since he was just that unwilling to provide basic customer service to us. In the end we said we would get one of which the kitchen hand recommended to go, and he responds with “two or one?”. This was the point that I seriously started to consider if he had impaired hearing or trouble with comprehension, because seriously? We responded with “one” and he immediately reacted with an even ruder attitude and then proceeded to ask if we wanted it to go or have there; with us obviously once again repeating ourselves to him. The cherry on top was that are price point was very high considering the bad service and extremely mediocre taste.
Not sure if we just caught this store on a bad day or not, but I highly doubt I’ll be going back. I’m willing to take a longer walk to elsewhere in Khandallah village or Johnsonville.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent coffee and food. Hard working small business owner who gives 110% to the business. Always has a great buzz and vibe about it. My go to cafe/deli when in the area.
