β β β β β The test ride that Keith encouraged us to take, made me dream that night of all the possibilities for riding it. The service was fantastic, and his advice is honest and informative without being pushy. This is THE most comfortable bike I have ever ridden and because of the assist I am not reticent to go out and ride. It has replaced my car for around town trips. I have never been so active in my life and I am loving my Gepida bike!

β β β β β We bought two Gepida electric bikes from Keith and his wife and the experience from the start was fantastic. There was no sales pressure. Keith took us out on a ride and showed us how to ride the e bikes. We found both of them to be very knowledgeable about their product. We are loving our bikes and enjoying the easy way to exercise.

β β β β β We bought a Magnum mountain bike for my mother in law a few months ago and it has absolutely lived up to the e-bike hype. She enjoys an active rural lifestyle, but after a couple of knee surgeries a few years back, had thought her biking days were behind her. Keith was fantastic at helping us navigate the options and pick out some choices to test ride, and we've ended up with the perfect match for her lifestyle. We took it in for its first service a few weeks back and continue to be really impressed with the support and service we've received. Thanks heaps guys!

β β β β β Electrify NZ in Papamoa is definitely the place to go if you want to try or buy an electric bike. The staff are very knowledgeable and very patient. (especially with one as clueless as me!). We were looked after by Robin who made sure I tried and bought the bike that was right for me. They have a fantastic selection at good prices. The only problem was actually making my mind up ! The after sales service is excellent and I can't recommend them highly enough.

β β β β β We recently purchased two E Bikes and accessories from this shop and spent close on $11,000. My wife inquired about getting a first service check for both of them and was cheerily told "oh yes as you have had them for more than 6 weeks there is a charge of $50 each!!". Whilst the money is of no consequence to us, I rang the owner back to ask why we were not told at purchase and was given a recital about how it is written in the information booklets given with the bikes as well as being told verbally (which was not the case!). When I tried to make the point that it would have been nice to know in advance I was accused of shouting simply for speaking a little more sternly than normal. I had to wait to be told (3 times!) that it was standard across all Bike shops to have a 200 Km limit (ours have done in excess of 400.. but we were not asked this). When I got tired of being accused of shouting I was then accused of being threatening for saying that I would post the unsatisfactory conversation! I also offered to come down and discuss this at which point I was hung up on. How can customers who have this sort of treatment be expected to continue to patronize such a place? "Caveat Emptor"
PS: I found the 200 Km limit on page 46 of the second manual that came with the bike!!
..In response to your quick and cordial response which is markedly different to our phone conversation... There are a few correctional points to make here. 1) The bikes were collected on 17 March (not 6 months ago!). 2) Again I have consulted with the operating instructions manual (56 pages) and also the supplementary manual (72 pages) and on page 54 of the former there is a content called the Handover Certificate which is supposed to be filled out by the dealer with the relevant details. Nothing was filled out in either booklet and had this been done we may have been alerted to the service situation on pages 54 and 55... 3) Nowhere can I see a six week limit requirement as you mentioned on the phone? 4) In my phone conversation I mentioned that my bike had done just over 400 Ks and assumed my wife's bike had done around 1200 purely because she rides hers more than I do. It does not escape the fact that when I rang to ask why we were not informed adequately at time of purchase you chose to shut me down with a false accusation of shouting which was not the case. Effectively hiding behind such a trivial excuse is hardly an appropriate method to allow a customer to get an answer to a concern they may have. It is a well worn method to deflect any blame and certainly not conducive to maintaining a good customer relationship.

β β β β β We had an awesome experience buying 2 X ebikes from Dan and his team. From test riding different bikes, after explaining in detail the differences, to a detailed briefing on purchase. We came away from Electrify NZ happy with our choice of bikes and highly recommend Dan and his team.
Now let the fun begin.

β β β β β Just bought a bike from Electrify NZ in Tauranga. Fantastic and knowledgeable service. Loved the fact we could go for a decent test ride before we bought - not just around a car park. Thanks!
