We are a restaurant, tapas bar & events venue. We have live music every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon and/or evening, from acoustic musicians to full bands and DJs. Our food is made by passionate chefs using only free range meat and fresh local produce.

The iconic Mount Social Club building has been a restaurant and bar in Mount Maunganui since the 70’s. In 2014 it had a full makeover using mostly recycled, reclaimed building materials and got fitted out with a lot of funky, up-cycled furniture.

Staff were very friendly and polite. the keg ran out whilst filling my handle so they give me a glass of beer as well as the mostly filled handle. Definitely stop there again the next time we're at the mount

The food let it down this time, fish burger had a gluey consistency to the batter and did not look cooked, could not finish it was so bad, have had the fish before so I know it can be good. Did mention it and show them, got the reply that some thing had affected it, charged me full price and that was that. Can't blame the staff, they just work there and follow the chef rules I guess. So prob will try elsewhere after that:(

Thank you Tom and your team for making a memorable birthday from a very grateful 60yr old. We had 70 people in our group.
