About Elspeth Bakery
We are looking for the right person to be the "face" of Elspeth. You will be responsible for serving customers and managing the smooth running of the front of house for Elspeth. This is a busy role requiring orginisation and initiative, you must also have the ability to work without supervision. Previous experience in a similar role is preffered but not essential as training will be provided. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A busy Saturday brunch but the almond croissant was terrible, sprinkling almonds on top of a poorly made dense plain croissant does not make it a almond croissant. Coffee was ok but it was a 20min wait for it. Wait staff despite seeing the number on our table repeatedly asked if we had everything. Logically we didn’t because the table number was still there, my suggestion would be for them to check there ordering system and see what we were waiting for rather than constantly interrupting our conversation to ask. All that being said the food coming out of the kitchen looked great but the 45min wait was to long for our busy schedule that day. Would give them the benefit of the doubt and will try them again another time.
