★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good location, clean and tidy but definitely not worth what they charged. This place has so much potential if it stepped into 2021 rather then the 1990s. Also Was disappointed that there isn't a spa pool as pictured on the dated website. Lovely man greeting us at reception.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had to fix the shower head myself as it drooped every time the water was turned on, needed a screw tightened. Also the shower head wasn't sealed properly so water came out the side, and the carpet was filthy, was covered in fluff, lint and hair. Not a great room, especially for the price. Not that impressed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in one bedroom apartment, was a touch small. Had a very bizarre set out. Kichen vanity set out was weird. Wifi great. Location great. Wife had stayed before and enjoyed those rooms. Sending PDFs of vax pass felt a bit over the top. Photo should have been good enough. Nice and quite.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really enjoyable staycation. Lovely qaint setting, perfect location for access to Takapuna beach and local restaurants. Beautiful grounds and lovely pool, a bit tricky with kids not allowed to jump in, but overall a lovely weekend. Would definitely stay again. Thank you

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing friendly staff! Amazing garden area. No information booklet left in the room so didn’t know what time the pool closed or opened, or what eatery was around, noisey road during the early mornings Comfortable beds nice and clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location is the winner with this accommodation located within 100 meters of Takapuna Beach. The 1 bedroom suite we stayed in over 3 nights wasn't up to our expectations when looking at the website. We had no working kettle upon our arrival, no coat hangers, 2 small bars of soap to use over our 3 night stay, no heated towel rail, and no compendium to inform you about the pool and facilities mentioned on the Emerald Inn website. All electrical cords' testing tags in our room had expired. We did appreciate free parking on-site, a comfortable bed, good shower, and prompt replacement of the faulty kettle along with some hangers from another unit?

Just 1 min walk to the beach and Takapuna centre. The best staff ever!
We really enjoyed our stay there !
