★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My fave lounge anywhere? not great views outside to tarmac, but food generally good and varied, and most notably excellent Kiwi premium wine choices, streets ahead of the QF lounge

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic lounge - the staff are amazing, the facilities are great and the food was delicious. I didn’t have a shower at this lounge but the bathrooms were lovely. The selection of food was great as was the beverage selection.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely my favourite airport lounge. Service, amenities, food and choice of drinks is outstanding. It's always a great start and end of a holiday. Also lovely to shower and freshen up before a long flight.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While normally a great lounge in Auckland airport and synonymous with the high standards Emirates represents, most recent visit was a dismal display of dis-organisation and ablundering mess of timings.
Arrived at opening time for the lounge 5:15pm. Hot food was not available.
Numerous customers were asking when food would be ready. Attendees in the lounge replies were continuously ‘in 5 mins, in 5 mins’
It wasn’t until 6pm that hot food was available.
Nothing like ‘inhaling’ a meal prior to rushing to make a flight!
While these errors could be a representation to limiting Emirates lounge operating times across Australia and New Zealand to reduce expenditures it is obviously coming at a significant cost to the integrity and quality representation the airline strives for.
Any reputable 4+ star airline lounge would have food on a dinner service prepared and ready for service at opening time.
I’d rather use another lounge at Auckland and if this lounge continues to poorly represent the Emirates brand, I’ll fly and remain loyal to another and their associates.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Emirates business class lounge in Auckland is a large modern lounge with a good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
The staff are very friendly and welcoming and there is plenty of seating and there are also showers and toilets which are kept clean.
The food was well presented and a lot of the cold dishes were tasty but unfortunately the hot dishes were not very hot at all.
Overall a pleasant business class lounge and well worth the visit

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In order to give the most accurate and most informative Google Reviews, I am one of the few Google Reviewers that judges my reviews on the following 6 points.
1.Service; The service is friendly from the entrance to the wait staff, personable and has attention to detail. Their reading material is wide and varied, Literally they have a wall of most papers in NZ and magazines and specialty magazines like Travel Mags etc. The toilets have a lovely range of hand soaps and hand lotions, hair dryer and Bvlgari perfume available for the ladies to freshen up with and a shower with well-stocked amenities and towels to use. There is also a business area for those wishing to catchup on some last minute business transactions and to use the free wi-fi. The marble and gold furnishings carry the opulence over to the toilets, which were impeccably cleaned on entry. There are also shower facilities, but on this occasion, I did not check the showers out. Lots of large tv screens (2 I recall?) for those wanting to catch up on the All Blacks, cricket, tennis or rugby league. Emirates Auckland lounge is a 5 minute quick walk to the boarding area. The only thing I noticed is that the shower facilities may be smaller than other lounges - however a minor issue.
2.Coffee/drinks; The coffee and tea selection is above average and classy and has the usual coffee and tea selections – except, Emirates goes the extra distance and provides a lovely selection of dates to eat whilst drinking your coffee or tea. They also have a very fine selection of cognacs, whiskey and top shelf spirits. There is an excellent selection of New Zealand boutique white wines and also red wines and pinot noirs and the usual kiwi and international beers, ciders, coke and lemonade and water etc etc. They are one of the few business lounges that has Moet Chandon available for self-serve, pushing their rankings up in my eyes.
3.Vibe; When you walk into the lounge – all the wood finishes and the lounges spell opulence” and elegance. The décor is both relaxing, comforting and welcoming.
4.Food; My time of entry was around 12pm with a 1pm wheels in the air – therefore the menu was breakfast when I entered, going into lunch, therefore was a little sparse for the time preceeding lunch – and then 30 minutes later as I enjoyed my glass of “Man-O-War, Sauvignon blanc, out came some lovely somosa’s, chicken curry and other hot meals. The dessert and salad bar had a great selection of vegetarian and gluten free salads and delicious cheese cakes, chocolate cakes, slices and other sweet treats. I noted that as soon as I finished my meal, the wait staff quickly cleared my plate and the table was nice and clean, as was the whole environment.
5.Cleanliness; At the time I entered and left, the surroundings were impeccably looked after with attention to detail. Very, very clean lounge.
6.Point of difference; Excellent top shelf spirits, excellent selection of NZ premiere and boutique fine wines, The only business lounge (I am using Qantas lounge and Air New Zealand business class lounge as my point of comparison) that is still making available “Moet Chandon/Verve Clicquot as one of their bubbles selection, excellent selection of beers with little extras like the dates, like the staff checking the champagne and keeping at least two bottles on chill all the time and constant checking of the tables, the customer lounge area, and all done with a smile.
Based on all of the above points – I give this lounge a very definite 6 out of 5. I will be back with friends!!
