β β β β β Great setting. Lots of trees and very sheltered. Owners seem really chill. Great river to swim in (hint, it heats up through the day). Waipatiki is 25 mins away and Linden estate is just down the road. Well worth a visit. We had a great time and will be back. Would highly recommend. Basic amenities and a great vibe.

β β β β β Pretty run down. Lovely area and probably worth a visit outside peak holiday season but facilities too old and small for the number of campers. Would be great if you are self contained but limited hot water and Tiny kitchen make it difficult for large families.

β β β β β Lovely spot a bit expensive for what is available
Showers ? and toilets not cleaned washing machines leaking water looked unclean. Took our washing elsewhere. Shame as the grounds are nice.

β β β β β Just loved our camping trip here, nice and relaxed, heaps of room and shade. Great stream for the kids, big and small, to play in, will be going back!

β β β β β Lovely and large spot for campers!
But rudimentary facilities. Not well maintained. Not clean. The bathrooms are not often restock with toilets paper and handwash liquid.
What a shame! This area has potential.

β β β β β Stayed here for 2 nights the other day and it was both my partner's and my favourite campsite on our 10 day trip. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful trees and so much space for us and for our dog to run and play with other doggos! Lovely staff at reception, too.
A stream borders the campsite on one side, an orchard on the other. Wineries and restaurants are within walking distance or a 2-min drive, Napier city about 20mins away.
Showers were hot and had enough pressure, the kitchen had all that's needed (cooking stoves, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge)
Don't agree at all with other comments saying it's dirty. Yes, it's not Top10 standard: no kids activities other than a small playground, no pool and no cabins other than stationary retro caravans to rent (we brought our own caravan). No hair dryer in the bathroom and the bathrooms are not as pretty. So if you want these amenities you're better off at a more luxurious campsite. Everyone else will absolutely love it here!
