BUT!! Bit pricy, small portion.
Start was good. Puff bread w tara, mushroom taste was very nice, octopus was AMAZING!!!! So we expected more for mains and dessert, however, that was it. Chocolate pudding was overpowering date puree and tahini ice cream. Galaktopita was tasteless.

β β β β β The food, drinks and ambience is lovely. Service leaves a lot to be desired and they were not able to split the bill. No parking for non hotel guests. Definitely need to step it up a notch for me to go back there again.

β β β β β The staff at this restaurant are energetic and my wife and I feel comfortable with the excellent quality of service. I was amazed that every staff member was able to remember my name and preferences again (my second visit to Esther with my wife) A restaurant worth visiting.

β β β β β Classy but also rustic-feel atmosphere. Good service and food - we had a team breakfast and the presentation of our meals were nice, set in dishes where the eggs were cooked in them too. Very interesting cutlery. Coffee was great, a couple people ordered second servings. Would go back again to try more dishes.

β β β β β Supporting the hospos in Auckland CBD! We had an amazing dinner at Esther Restaurant at the viaduct tonight and was blown away from the exceptional food on offer!
Very generous portions for the mains but remember to make room for dessert. Their Apple Tarte is light and flaky! One of the best!

β β β β β Christmas meal no faults here from delicious cocktails to wine selection it was great. Food I personally think it could be better the taramasalata is very average but the bread was nice and fresh. The whole selection of the food was good from seafood to veggies to meat you get everything in one. The value of money is definitely there no doubt. The portion was generous we were so full we weren't able to eat the mains well which is good and bad. If anything at that Christmas dinner they were very busy as expected the guests was sitter a bit close to each other which makes me very anxious. seeing everyone not wearing a mask because of dining I still feel very paranoid. The service was good eventhough they really are struggling nonetheless it was a good Christmas meal.

β β β β β Absolutely love this restaurant. We made a last minute decision to have a late dinner after walking past and the hostess was super accommodating, offering us a table despite being busy.
The service was high end but still warm and personal. The food was 5-star but in generous portions with wholesome flavours. Extensive wine list and beautiful cocktails. But my personal favourite was the overall ambience... Perfect lighting, cool decor, good background music and good buzz with an eclectic clientele. Highly recommend.
