★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Frequent customer of this beautiful restaurant that holds themselves up to a very high standard. Ingredients are always top notch and impeccably presented. The sashimi platter and nigiri in particular are generous and reliable… whereas this is something many other restaurants might choose to cut corners with. Will keep going back.
Edit: adding in an extra review after trying out items on their take away menu. We ordered the Omakase seafood dinner set, chirashi sushi as well as some side dishes for Mother’s Day. We were blown away by the sheer amount of quality, generosity and beautiful flavours that this restaurant delivers. The chirashi sushi in particular was much larger than we expected, and we were double guessing ourselves.. was it actually $50??
Thank you Zen for this wonderful Mother’s Day dinner that we’ll never forget.

Ordered the large sashimi platter, as well as the sake jelly oysters, Wagyu, agadashi tofu and Dragon eel rolls - flavour was bountiful and well complimented by the exceptional service.
5/5 would overeat and waddle down the street to the ferry again ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Without a doubt one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. Everything was amazing with such attention to detail. The restaurant has lovely decor and a great welcoming atmosphere. The customer service was above and beyond. The staff were warm, friendly and very attentive. The food was sensational. Every dish was plated so beautifully and tasted just as delicious as it looked. It was definitely some of the best and most authentic Japanese food I've ever had. I will remember this dinner for a very long time!
