The food here is some to remember. We started with complimentary bread, fresh seaweed butter and beef tartare. We ordered the Roma tomatoes and langoustine, followed by the ribeye steak and mushroom risotto. Everything was cooked to perfection and the service was of a high standard. To note they have changed the menu a couple days after our visit, so will definitely return to try out their new dishes.

Food was ok but definitely not worth the price. Had sashimi, oyster and octopus for entree and salmon and onglet for mains. Complimentary bread and prawn were served at start. Octopus- nothing special. Balance with tomatoes was ok but the sauce…the dish tasted similar to the complimentary prawn. Probably the same and overpowering sauce was used for both. Salmon- crispy skin but totally blend overall. Onglet- execution was poor. Ordered medium but got medium rare almost rare. Had massive tendon each piece thats so hard such that it makes your knife look dull. Not the quality that you expect in fine dining. Best dish we had was sashimi and oyster which were raw. Very disappointing for french fine dining. Even so, you can find many other places that make much better sashimi and oyster in auckland with that price. Service- waiter was attentive but did not explain the dish when he serves. Not something you expect for fine dining. Been to many michellin restaurants in NZ and overseas. This place is not near to any michellin standard as they advertise. Will visit for casual dining but definitely will not come back for fine dining.

Wonderful lunch. The food is absolutely excellent and our waitress, Bianca, a delight. I really appreciate the free bread (which increasingly restaurants charge top dollar for) and the fact that they offer some wines that are NOT from New Zealand. Highly recommended. We'll be back for dinner soon.

I had dinner here with my best friend!! Place is so nice, calm.... seats at the restaurant entrance look a bit like Pariiiis style!! It's soooo calm and cosy, lighting is so good for a good yarn (if you're with the good person :)), waiters were so nice, (I don't drink so my mocktail was good for a mocktail like a real mocktail! Dessert was good (I liked it), my friend had a vegeterian plate (was yum and artistically cute) - my duck plate was okay (it was fine but I had better = I finished my plate). Oh we had bread and smocked flavour butter!!! It was good as a waiting for food starter (I love bread and butter ?)..... Overall beautiful experience. ?

Had a buffet breakfast here with our dear friends after a Saturday morning mass. It's a relaxing, good quiet place for catch-ups. Don't miss their bircher muesli, it's divine.
