★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thanks for not shutting or closing your kitchen after 3. We had delicious pizzas, one of which got accidental olives on it, which was surprising and delicious. Super funny and friendly waiter and great coffee. Highly recommend. BUT to the person who decided to leave a massive poo unflushed in the toilet....you are an absolute pig and a disgrace to the human race (NOT the fault of Ethel's.)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went over to watch a movie and decided to have dinner as well. The pizza was delicious, thin crispy base with homemade sauce and quality topping. We also had a vegetarian nachos to share with was exceptional. Very good service,friendly and helpful. The movie theatre was bigger than I expected. Confy chairs and a selection of more independent movies.
We loved it, will definitely go back there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem for lunch in Akaroa - we were recommended it by a local. Absolutely delicious cinnamon scrolls, but get in quick as they sell out! We enjoyed the cauliflower and chickpea salad, and the silverbeet quiche. Lovely flavours. Also has a few keto options if you're into that kind of thing. Coffee is pretty good.

The food is yummy and value for money.
Seats are comfy and the cinema is clean.
Would highly recommend going here if you are in Akaroa.
