β β β β β We don't get to Akaroa often, but when we do we often eat here. Meals are always good and prices reasonable, service is quick. Highly recommended.

β β β β β Very tasty curry, lighter sauce than I'm used to, but still delicious! My only criticism is the few spuds in our curry were undercooked and looks a bit old. I'd give 4.5starts if I could, but can't so best round up!

β β β β β Food was great. Very fast service. The high chair was dirty and had mold on the legs and the tray was broken. The young girl behind the bar played the same song over and over while we were there. All up a but disappointed considering the price we payed.

β β β β β Nice spot! First time, I had takeaways here and it was nice. Today, I went for a dine in and it's also lovely. The red curry was nice. I recommend to try the prawn dumplings, it'll help you to forget a of your problems.
Pretty much I had a nice experience here. I wish the bathroom was a bit cleaner. Just minor things tho.

β β β β β Lovely meal and plenty of it, didn't have to wait long at all for meal. Beautiful settings with awesome service and exceptional staff that made one feel quite relaxed. Would highly recommend and will go back for lunch before we leave...?

β β β β β It was a wonderful experience at La Thai Restaurant. We went to visit Akaroa on a very hot day (36Β°C) and did not want to have fish & chips this time. So we decided to try this Thai restaurant. We had Curry Puffs, Ginger Prawn Dumplings, Pad Thai and Iced Tea. The pad thai was absolutely delicious, our son loved the dumplings and curry puffs were good as well. The iced tea was quite refreshing for a hot day like 27 January 2021. The food was cooked fresh, fare pricing, awesome and friendly staffs, great view and outside sitting arrangements, separate toilets for male and female and overall a great experience. Highly recommended :)

β β β β β La Thai Restaurant is a great place to eat in Akaroa. The lights outside give it a real romantic feel and draw you inside. The service was super friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and came out so quickly. We would highly recommend this restaurant if visiting Akaroa.

β β β β β Lovely Thai restaurant. The food was delicious. Seems a bit pricey on first glance but the generous portion sizes made it well worth it. Decor and atmosphere were a bit lacking but the staff were nice and food came out fast. Cake and ice cream were good too. We'll be back the next time we're over in Akaroa for sure.
