★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I brought my imported second-hand eBike into Evo cycles for a service and was super-impressed with the quality, attention to detail and value for money. The bike hadn't been assembled quite correctly - this was corrected, and bike all tuned up to perform perfectly. Gears started slipping recently owing to new cable stretching and fixed for free, plus tightening of parts and lubing. Impressive especially since my bike wasn't even a local purchase. Knowledgable and friendly proprietor, very highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bike went in for a service, next time it was used the break pads fell off while going down a hill. Most likely cause was the break pin not put in correctly. Not ideal, it could easily have lead to a death. Assured processes were in place and it was a once off. After it was fixed, the chain fell off. The cause? The clip link wasn't put in correctly. Unbelievable.
I wouldn't recommend Evo at all. Attention to detail and safety doesn't appear to be a concern for them.
They get one star because the woman who we first dealt with was extremely remorseful and apologetic, but no one else seemed to be.
We won't be using Evo again for servicing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very poor service, Bought a 4k bike, went to pick it up, the rear shock wouldn't work, in pushing down on the saddle the carbon seat post slid down into the frame, scratching it, numerous other loose bolts, gears not adjusted correctly etc. No correct manuals supplied. Did a big ride four months after purchase, and the rear shock mount bolt came loose, (never happened on 5 other full suspension bikes) emailed evo how I felt it shouldn't of happened, and have never heard back from them. 0 stars is more fitting

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would have thought buying a new bike would be a great opportunity for them to suggest some accessories or at least ask me what else I might require. Was prepared to spend at least another $400 on racks, bags etc but was disappointed with the uninterested customer service so will buy extra gear elsewhere. This isn’t the case for all staff in there to be fair, most are very helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got my bike serviced a couple weeks ago. I had to book in an appointment 2 weeks in advance for the work as they were busy. At the time I asked if the service could be done in one day as I'm a commuter cyclist and needed my bike to get home. I was told yes. I asked the same question again when I dropped it off the morning of servicing (otherwise I would have rebooked) and was told yes it would be done before closing. I was called at 4pm that day to talk about the bike and was still told it was highly likely to be finished before closing. I waited in town for more than an hour after I'd finished work to pick up my bike. Not only was it not finished the same day, but they didn't even have the courtesy to call and tell me it wouldn't be finished so I could make other plans to get home that evening. It was a huge waste of my time and I won't be going back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely prices, and a good range of variety to choose from. They have all the good quality brands, but their essentials are cheap. No sense having to constantly pay out top dollar even after the purchase of a bike.
