★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waited an hour for our food (liver pate on toast with a side of hash browns and mushrooms - not a complex dish) and when it eventually arrived it was seriously underwhelming. Coffee was OK but luke warm. The side of mushrooms was ridiculous. Staff were friendly but I won't be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome food & cafe. Faith's pies are AMAZING as is most of her cooking & dishes. A warm inviting decor with a cool feature wall out back too. At the east end of Jackson St Petone, it's away from all the other cafes at the other end of the street, but well worth the visit. My go cafe when I'm in Petone.

The staff are always friendly and there’s something for everyone on the menu. The new changes to the menu are well-rounded and I’m pleasantly surprised how much I enjoy the salads (not usually a salad person). Highly recommend the Thai beef salad, the best I’ve had!
Faith is usually around and it’s lovely to always have a chat with her. If you pop in make sure to say hi!
