★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time ate at he restaurant and in love with the food! Tried the paneer dosa and it was so good! Service was a bit slow. Price was decent. Lots of selection for vegetarian meals, Indo Chinese food and Indian sweets and snacks. Was a lovely lunch there

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice atmosphere, quiet and the food looked amazing, let's start with the dishes we ordered.
You can either get the self service from the smorgasbord or order a meal, they also have a lavish selection of vegetarian deserts, sadly only 3 vegan options.
The Pani Puri was a very light starter, it was quite fun to eat, my friend tried to fill it and spilt it all over her hand which provided a much accepted laugh. The dish is served cold which would be great on a warm summers day, it has a mild spice to it which is added by the sauce, absolutely delicious.
Up next, the vegan Chow Mein, the aroma was exciting and light, once I ate my first bite I was inlove, it had the right amount of spiceyness and wasn't too oily like a chow mein can often be, it had a healthy mix of veges and the garlic really complimented the entire dish, overall the dish was exquisite and easy to enjoy, a great Autumn and winter meal.
Finally we had the Onion Masala Dosa, the triangular goodness. The pastry was sweet and complimented by the onion aroma cooked inside, the dips were delicious and over all it was damn good.
Ok, finally for real, kaju burfi. At first I couldn't really taste it, but as I encountered more of the dish I noticed the strong cashew nut taste, it was delicious. The best part, not too sweet! Warning does contain nuts, if easily offended or allergic don't eat.
The pricing was very fair, very inexpensive experience overall.
What can they improve? Hmm make vegan Jalebi and Vegan Gulab Jamun.
TLDR: Food good, price good, I come again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have read other reviews and found it was not just us having bad experience with Mr.Uncle old man .He is always rude and instruct like he is not serving customers he is having langar in his backyard.On top of it he comes to clear dishes while you are eating.Place turned in to a worse place but all other staff is respectful and I feel sad for young staff that they are working for such an ungrateful owner.Nz is all about customer service but this place is ruined by one man.Hope you will learn from young boy and girl who also serves customer with a smile.
Addressing to reply :We were 4 people and didn’t request for corner table we were looking for a place so others won’t get disturb while we talk or laugh.It is looking from your reply that is your regular practice and some more customers been suffered and they didn’t left a review which I encourage people to leave a review .Place is all good but just one person is not directed it well.
Do not come to clear table while people are eating food this is a basic etiquette hope someone will teach you .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered Aaloo tikki chat and they just gave me boiled potato with white chickpeas gravy and in dahi bhale the yogurt has more water than yogurt not a really good food experience ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Indian Vegetarian cuisine. Spacious and very neat and clean premises. Many varieties of very authentic tasting Indian food items. Very cheerful and helpful staff. Lots of parking all around the place. Several typical Indian sweets and savories that remind one of the best sweet shops of India are available here. Certainly worth several visits with family and friends.

Highly recommend the Bhature Chole Thali and the Raj Kachori Chaat when they serve it.

Dosa chutney was not fresh, so was the smashed potatoe masala in masala dosa.
The tea was just sugar syrup and lastly, dahi puri was terrible.
In general indian restaurant are well popular for sub quality food.
I would not blame the restaurant, as the prices are relatively low but probably there may be other dishes which can be good ?
