β β β β β I am 17
I was not involved in the wait times or appointment processes as many other reviews have claimed to be egregious, as that was all happening on the behalf of my mother.
But I will say that never have I ever felt so distressingly misunderstood by someone who claimed themselves to be a medical professional. what I experienced was 1% dialogue and 99% hurtful assumptions and completely reckless disregard to all the nuances of my experiences.
My thoughts and feelings were not given the light of day, this doctor had put me in tears right in front of him and even then still failed to reach out a hand. The experience was sickening, and my bias against mental health care has only been validated by this god awful place.

β β β β β I was very impressed with the service I received from Dr Bopardi. He even followed up after the weekend to see if I was ok.

β β β β β Why not come out and tell the who queue of people waiting for covid test that your not doing them, rather than just poking you head out the door and telling the first person in the queue? I was waiting 45 mins for you to tell the first person then 15 mins between each one until it got to my time. Donβt worry I made sure to tell everyone else waiting.

β β β β β One of the worst primary health care centres in North Island. Been with GPs in Auckland, Wellington and Palmy before moving here. Outright the worst! And to top it - EXPENSIVE! Their objective is to mint money, not healthcare.

β β β β β I am constantly amazed at the absolute pack of useless people at this place. I was recently asked to get blood taken it tool 3 trips because the doctor didnt send paperwork through the second time the blood collection lady informed me it was to be done in the morn after fasting which was a surprise as I said to the doctor ill go now at 4pm to which she said great thank u. I've had a doctor here for like 8 years and never seen her once everytime I go I get a differnt random I waited 1 month to see her recently for her to cancel on the day so I deal with another random who sees my issues and prescines me what I need just for this so called doctor to cancel it the next day and ask I go for tests and specialists anot getting that prescription now I wonder if she even read the notes stating my life was on the line etc I bet not it's q joke of a place if you get Cornwallis as your doctor run for the hill's shes useless.nd blah time off work blah

β β β β β Waited with 2 small children for 45 minutes before finding out that no one was coming to see us, even with an appointment. The reception couldnβt get through to the appropriate area on the phone and didnβt think to use her legs to talk to them or me.
The best part was that the reception didnβt come to me, I had to go and ask what the deal was. I am wondering how long I would have been left waiting if it was up to them.
Reception: Lazy
Communication: Poor

β β β β β There is a nurse there at the moment that is absolutely rude and it is not acceptable, if you are unable to care and show compassion to clients then you are in the wrong line of work. I will be moving doctors as multiple times going I have been left upset due to this nurse being bluntly rude.
28/3/22 check the roster and check those nurses that were rostered on.

β β β β β Could the receptionist at the blood and XRay clinic be coached in the art of customer service? To be greeted by a closed door when the clinic is supposed to be open, then when the door is finally opened, to be "barked at" in a most officous manner, and then walked away from without any form of welcome, is totally below the standard expected from a publicly funded primary Healthcare service.
Fortunately the nurse that actually provided the service was warm, friendly and competent which was in stark contrast to the reception.
