★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you’ve been to New Zealand’s West Coast, this fern house will feel very familiar. Lots of the species within are recognizable from walks around Hokitika, Te Anau, etc. Except there aren’t sand flies here, so you can enjoy looking at them in peace!
Notice the dead wood walls, which allow other species to climb up them. Also keep an eye out for the funny wood birds scattered here and there between the plants.
