β β β β β We're currently relaxing after our third day with these guys. The whole set up is outstanding. We had a fantastic group to walk with and can't recommend Trips & Tramps highly enough. The helicopter ride , the cruise, the guides... all were exceptional. And Fjordland itself was a superstar.
We were lucky to have lots of proper rain so the landscape put on a show for us. Massive thanks to the guides Helen , Taisei, Geoff and Ro' The weather scuppered plan A for day 3, but Geoff came up trump's with a few local short walks and places of interest.

β β β β β Absolutely fantastic experience. My friend and I did the 3 day trip: heli hike on Kepler track including climb to Mt Luxmore; Milford track walk and cruise; and Mt Key climb on Routeburn track. We had a different guide every day and they all had heaps of knowledge on local history, flora , fauna and geology. Highly recommended ?

β β β β β From the moment we started the trip, it was a fantastic experience. Douglas was a phenomenal tour guide. He told us many interesting things about the area, spotted all kinds of birds for us along the way and took us on a number of walks. By the time we reached the boat, everyone on the trip was in agreement that we'd already gotten WAY more than we'd paid for!
The cruise of Milford Sound was of course tremendous. Our sail went on Go Orange, where they had great coffee and even included fish and chips. (Other ships did not include food β even our guide was thrown by this β so if you haven't paid for your picnic lunch add-on be sure to bring one.) Other members of our tour went on a different ship and seemed similarly happy.
We felt well taken care of by Douglas and felt like he actually cared about us as people. The tour felt more like a knowledgeable friend-of-a-friend letting you in on their favorite places to go than a cookie-cutter bus tour. I would absolutely go again, on this or anything else Trips and Tramps was offering.

β β β β β Our overall experience has been great! We wanted to spend 3 days in Fiordland but werenΒ΄t sure about what to do. They helped us with the planning and suggested a full 3-day scheduled trip that would suit us. We finally did Doubtful Sound, Milford Sound and a taste of the kepler Track. ItΒ΄s been so easy just to not having to worry because they were taking care of everything. The guides were friendly and would provide useful and interesting information on the way. I would strongly recommend to book with them!

β β β β β Amazing trip to Milford Sound from Te Anau with Trips and Tramps small coach.
Geoff our driver was 10 star. Friendly Informative and always humorous. Great commentary on the history, flora and fauna, personalities, weather and all the topographical features of the land and mountains we passed in Fiordland during our trip there and back. I thoroughly recommend this company for outstanding personal service.

β β β β β We booked a day trip to Milford Sound from Te Anau with Trips & Tramps and could not have been happier with our choice.
Geoff was our guide and made the trip a wonderful experience! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the area, geography, animals, plants and was full of fun and interesting stories. He also made sure we had plenty of opportunities for photos and short walks along the way. Thank you again for an excellent day!

β β β β β Excellent day trip from Te Anau to Milford and back.
Geoff, our driver was amazing.
We were able to sit back, relax and take in the stunning scenery. All while Geoff kept us entertained with a mix of local history and facts about how the geographical features were formed.
Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area that you book a tour with these guys.
