β β β β β Awesome tour! Nigel is very knowledgeable about the area. The private tour in the Tesla was very comfortable (no crowded tour group or bus) the large windscreen allowed us to see the scenery easily. We had many stops on the way to Milford Sound, which we could enjoy at our own pace.

β β β β β OMG PEOPLE YOU NEED TO DO THIS!! I had only one whole day to experience Fiordland National Park, and this was truly the perfect way to do it!
First: Having driven everywhere I've been traveling in New Zealand, it was so great to have someone else drive for a change so that I could really take in the scenery. It's a real drive from the entrance to the park to Milford Sound where you have the opportunity to jump on a guided cruise, and I'm so glad that I was able to take in everything along the way. And in a Tesla Model X, the travel was eco-friendly, super comfortable, and suuuuper fancy!
Second: Milford Sound!! Included was an amazing cruise through the Milford Sound. I noticed a lot of huge cruise ships on the docks, but our cruise was with the smaller Cruise Milford boats that have a max of 60 guests - and even in high season, this cruise was intimate and not overcrowded, which made the experience that much more rewarding! Plus we had lunch for the cruise too!!
Third: Nigel!! Nigel, our guide, was so friendly and accommodating! He knows the park so well - taking us to the best short hikes and spots to take pictures, not to mention the amazingly serene spot we stopped for afteroon coffee (expertly prepared by Nigel)!! I think he was a huge asset knowing how to navigate some of the tricky spots along the drive and being there for us every step of the way.
I experienced this awesome adventure with my dad, who cannot get around very well anymore. While I'm use to trekking it on my own, backpacking with friends, this was truly the best way to explore Fiordland NP with my dad!! I also typically research anything that I'm interested in experiencing, and try to read as many reviews as possible, but this company is relatively new so there's not much out there to find, but I am so glad I took what I thought was a risk at the time because it was worth every penny!!
Nigel - thank you so much for giving us such an unforgettable experience!!!

β β β β β We loved our private tour to and from Milford Sounds with Envy Experiences, we especially loved being in the Tesla! Nigel was friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy. We went in the middle of winter and felt safe. We enjoyed all the pitstops on the way, learning about the area and the extra sites we got to see that you wouldn't usually see on a coach tour.
We highly recommend ??

β β β β β We experienced a fantastic day tour into Milford Sound with Nigel and his fabulous Tesla X, Nigel was super knowledgeable and professional and looked after us totally. He even boiled up a thermette and provided muffins for morning tea along the way. He took us on some short walks to great photo spots, included was a 2 hour cruise on the only family owned boat, this was very well run with very friendly and helpful crew,. We would totally recommend Nigel and Envy tours to anyone wanting to go into Milford Sound, why would you drive or go by tour bus when you can have a great day with Nigel and his Tesla X and have a great commentary and be driven by such a competent driver.

β β β β β We had the best tour with Nigel in the Tesla. He was knowledgeable about the area and we enjoyed the stops on the way to discover the area. We were lucky enough to see a kea too! The cruise included was also fantastic, great customer service. Nigel made sure to go the extra mile for us, including the a coffee and the Tesla Dance. Cannot recommend this tour enough if you are looking to go to Milford Sound. It was the highlight of our trip and not a day to forget! Thanks for having us

β β β β β The best possible way to experience Fiordland and Milford Sound! Nigel is an amazing guide, and had answers to my random questions about all sorts of things (everything from hedgehog distribution and one-lane bridges to the shape of rivers in New Zealand). He showed us lots of stunning spots along the way, expertly taking the weather into account and planning the best options accordingly. Of course it was also a delight to spend time in Lola the Tesla!
The (included) Milford Sound cruise was amazing too, but I'll review that separatelyβjust know that Nigel partners with a great small operator to ensure the best experience.
We've been in New Zealand for two years now, and this was one of the most memorable days by far. To be honest, we were a little hesitant to book at first because the whole thing seemed too good to be trueβbut it is true, and we wholeheartedly recommend a day with Nigel, Lola, and Envy Experiences.

β β β β β Incredible experience, really pleased to have gone with Nigel. It's a very good price in consideration of
(1) not having to drive your self on a sometimes challenging road
(2) make cool stops along the way with someone who knows the area and sights extremely well
(3) not having to pay for gas or parking if you drove yourself (it's actually a pretty long way from te anau and the parking at milford sound is not cheap!)and driving in comfort with an electric car which is way more sustainable
(4) the price includes a boat ride with one of the smaller independent companies who give often longer and less generic tours (with free coffee and cookies!). The price of the cheapest boat tour is usually $100 - $130 during these pandemic times which is almost the cost of nigel's whole tour!
(5) Nigel was a friendly non imposing bloke. Knowledgeable about the area and will be happy to chat the whole way, but if you are introverted like my parter and I, who can find small talk tiring, he was more than happy to let us chill or put headphones for stretches of the trip. This was really appreciated
