โ โ โ โ โ Hell yes! I got a fish and egg burger there this avo. Iv eaten F&E burgers all over chch and this was the best by miles! The food was great, and the friendly girl behind the counter was very nice too ;) will definitely be back for more burgers! Yum yum yum!

โ โ โ โ โ Good chips, perhaps a bit salty on this occasion. Fish isnโt bad either. Both fish and hotdogs seem to use a corn based batter which gives them a yellow appearance similar to when you buy hot dogs from food trucks at the speedway. Nice burgers too. It is a bit pricier than most which Iโm not sure is justified (maybe the rent is expensive).
We spent about 20% more here than our regular โMaster Seafoodโ down the road which was closed today.

Might be a bit harsh but my star rating was based in the portions not the uber service.

Can be a bit hit and miss. We use these guys when our regular is shut on occasion.
Lots of options food and salt wise and if picking up the place is always impeccable.
Sadly the portions of chips are a bit smaller than we are used too, generally their 2 scoops is one scoop of most other places we have been to in the last 12 months or so. They also add either food colouring or something the batter to make it quite yellow.
We have ubered these guys twice now and sadly both times felt as though the price was way too steep for what we received. And the uber driver had the meal for 25 minutes in the car before delivering as he made other stops to collect and drop off 2 other orders on one occasion so ut was rather soggy and not crisp like normal.

I go from the other side of town to this place because it's always so good ?.

โ โ โ โ โ Most definitely 1 of the worst places in Christchurch for fish as it's over priced and not best quality. Burgers was pretty ordinary also, Chips were ok though!! It's lucky to get 2 star rating.

โ โ โ โ โ Really enjoyed our burgers which are real old school type even with pickle relish! Chips were lovely are fresh cooked to golden perfection. Great prices too. Highly recommend ?

โ โ โ โ โ I think it's obvious why the low rating the only reason they got two star's was because last time my chips were okay those charred things on my plate are what I got this time. Pineapple fritter was covered in salt but I dabbed it off, it ended up being the only thing I was able to eat.
Reply: As mentioned above I got them before and they weren't charred to a crisp nor were they black. You look bad ? when you try and defend rather than own it and apologize. You should stop making excuses for bad quality and overcooked food and work inwards to resolve the issues people are telling you about. Quality control and consistency is important and I have had kumara chips many times before and I worked with chefs for many years I literally know that isn't true.
