β β β β β Terrible meal, burger completely raw. Fish somehow overcooked with undercooked batter. The whole meal was drenched in oil, I could seriously squeeze the hotdogs and oil dripped off them. Disgusting. Left hungry.

β β β β β Best fish and chips Iβve ever had. Perfectly cooked and the batter was nice and crispy. Very kind staff as well. I got the gurnard and a half scoop of chips - enough to feed two people!!

β β β β β We have been getting fish n chips from this shop (and the shop formerly known as Alton Street Takeaways) for over 40 years. Best in Nelson. I particularly recommend the potato fritters (flips) as a delicious addition to any meal. So grateful for the effort and dedication!

β β β β β They served us pretty quickly, but then again we only ordered a couple scoops of chips. They were well wrapped, but probably under seasoned. The staff were friendly.

β β β β β Think this is my favourite chippy in town. I recently made an order and got caught up in town and they had to throw my order away. They made me a new order on the spot even though it was my fault! They're great and super accomodating and will encourage others to get their meals here. Great service and great food too!!
