β β β β β Had to wait 30 mins in the rain for a piece of fish and a spring roll.. Only one group of 3 people were also waiting.. Food was yummy though..

β β β β β Very disappointing that they have stopped doing sorbet ice creams and our son has dairy allergy. We used to love coming down with 3 kids for family fish and chips and ice cream but will have to find another venue as not fair on those with allergies.

β β β β β Only leaving 1 star as you cant post without 1. If the food was any good you could almost, (almost) excuse the poor customer service. No smiles, almost expressionless servers. But then you take a bite of a burger that you waited over half an hour for to find out its raw. Great place to eat if you are after a side of food poisoning.

β β β β β Fish and Chips price is a bit higher than the average. However, the price is well justified as fish is crunchy in the outside yet juicy in the inside. The chips compliments well with the fish at it is crunchy as well on the outside and seasoned with just the right amount of salt. It is served with tangy lemon wedges. It is worth a try for your go to comfort food.
They also have creamy and sweet assortment of ice creams, a perfect dessert to enjoy while strolling under the sun-drenched sea shore.

β β β β β When you pay a big premium on top full price, you expect some sort of quality and quantity
Out of the 3 pieces of Terakihi we ordered, only one was a reasonable size for an adult, the other two were clearly just off cuts about 5 or 6cm long. They must have known they were way too small but sold them to us anyway
We would have taken them back if we weren't already starving after a one hour wait, and we certainly didn't want to wait another hour - granted it was peak time during the Xmas holidays, but still no excuse for taking such liberties. That's your opportunity to step up and create as many happy and loyal customers as possible, instead of the opposite
We'll get some at our local on the way to the beach next time
