★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice campground with good location and facillities, but my cabin insulation and ventilation was poor, making the cabin too hot to be occupied during most of the day and early evening. I've modified my rating to 3 stars after being contacted by the owner who has promised to take measures to address this issue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to stay with easy access to lovely walks and the beach. We stayed in an unpowered site near the old amenities block. So although we enjoyed the stay the toilet and kitchen were quite run down. Would definitely stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Location to city, cycle way and the beach perfect. Easy , friendly check in process. We had a problem with our power access thinking it was the facility problem. John came to the rescue and the problem was from our motorhome. Soon all was sorted from a very helpful skilled man and I now have a better understanding of our electrics. Many thanks John. Ended our day with a fantastic swim.

We got the top cabin, which caught the last of the sun! Everything was immaculately clean and practical. Had everything we needed in the kitchen. Thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We only noticed this caravan park as we happened to be on the ocean walkway. It looked very good, cabins were modern & clean. The whole area was tidy. Looked like there were no ocean views but just a hop skip & jump & you're right on the beach. Quiet area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely disgusted. 13 days out from our stay we requested a date change due to an I’ll family member. We spoke with them and explained our situation in confidence. They declined our date change, understandable to a certain extent, I understand it’s a busy time of year. We then asked for a refund only to find out they declined this too. They have gone ahead and cancelled our entire stay and pocketed the $1600 we had already paid. No offer of other dates or any compensation what so ever. I’m deeply deeply disturbed by this. Be aware of this and just no their nothing but day light thieves. If I could rate their PR skills and our experience with them any lower I would have. Absolutely saddened and revolted with this place. Never book with this outfit. They’ll take what they can and ghost you try communicating with them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just spent a fortnight here. Parked up in the top area. What a fantastic camp. Well maintained by a bunch of very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean facilities. Camp sits adjacent the famous New Plymouth Coastal Walkway so easy to take great walks or bike rides. The beach is only metres away and comes with a 'kiosk' which does great coffee's. I had my own caravan but from what I could see, the cabins looked fantastic.
Great tent sites as well. I fully recommend this idyllic site.
