★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to stop half of you are driving between Queenstown and Te Anua. We had coffees cheese rolls and toasted sandwiches. Toasties were a bit greasy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location & beautiful views you can enjoy with a lovely meal or drink. They offer delicious vegan and gluten free options. I came back again to find a real journeys tour bus had filled the cafe, about a 20min wait for the soup of the day. Long line and stressed staff. Not a place to stop by for a quick bite.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So pleased these guys have survived a VERY difficult and challenging 2 years of constant lockouts and lockdowns informed by the NZ Govt... Fingers crossed ? this Cafe and others in Remote NZ will survive into 2022 summer..... AWESOME cheese Rolls and quick food service during the days... I pass by often with Shuttle Groups onboard my professional VIP transport business..... Always stop in as it's around halfway and a perfect low stress easy parking spacious spot between Qtown and TeAnau Milford Road

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty decent local cafe that was good to break up the drive from Invercargill to Te Anau. Food was homely but slightly slow - it was a public holiday though and a lot of people were stopping by.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure what's happened from 5 months ago till now, but definitely not super friendly staff, didn't even give us a hint of a smile from the woman at the counter. Cheese rolls were just that, cheese. Nothing particularly tasty. The milkshakes. They must have made 1 and shared it between 2, as only got half a container fill. Can't imagine the reception I would have got if I had taken it back. So no, won't be returning, will be doing all my eating and drinking at The Coffee Bomb 20 mins north.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice eggs Benedict with bacon and Salmon. It’s a must have. They have at the backyard horses and lhamas, good for the kids to get entertained. Coffee was 2 out of 5. I asked for Almod milk, I received cow’s milk.
