★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the second time I have had a manicure and pedicure. The quality has been appalling. Both times my nails are left brittle and weak and the lady files the full surface of my nail instead of buffing it. The nail polish is in terrible condition, most of it chipping on the first day. I end up paying for a deluxe manicure and pedicure but don't get a massage and instead she just rubs the tiniest bit of cream onto the back of my hand. Today, as she was applying nailpolish, she found imperfections on the nail and instead of wiping the nailpolish off, she kept filing the imperfection down. Will not be going there again unless I am able to book another lady. This lady is the only one that ruins my nails and doesn't listen and cannot communicate clearly. I am left with silence when she asks me a question and I ask her to repeat herself and when I answer thinking that is what she has asked me, then she doesn't correct the question.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I tried this place for the first time yesterday, I wasn't sure because of reviews but it was just around the corner from me so I gave it a go and I was pleasantly surprised. I got a pedicure and the lady I had was lovely, she took her time and paid attention to detail, it was perfect. Also there was another lady who noticed my massage seat had stopped working (unbenounced to me) during the pedicure and came over to reset it. She also continued cleaning the salon the whole time I was there. The place is lovely, clean and has fresh plants and flowers, which was a nice surprise. Well done ladies you did a fantastic job for me. Thank you

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just visiting New Zealand from Canada and I needed to get a refill done. Looked up nail salons on Google and Five Star popped up and they had great reviews. The nail technician was super friendly, nice to chat with and did an amazing job on my nails! Definitely will be back when I am in Auckland again.
