β β β β β Used to be simply the best fish in chips in town, and such nice friendly people. Unfortunately success seems to have come at a cost of their standards. For the 3rd time in recent months, we have been sold clearly frozen fish when we asked specifically what fresh fish they had. The difference is always obvious. Time to look elsewhere which is unfortunate as they are right around the corner and the chips are excellent. Frozen sold as fresh is however not acceptable.

β β β β β We had a great dinner from here. The fish was lovely, fresh and perfectly cooked and the chips were delicious and not at all greasy. A lovely owner too. The shop is very clean which is not often found at takeaway shops!
