★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really enjoyed our morning coffee and eggs. Quiet end of town. Staff friendly. Food great for price. Homemade pies and pasties. Breakfast and lunch menu. Lots of GF food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've stopped in to Freckles Cafe in Westport three times now on our way to and from Karamea and love the friendly atmosphere and the great 'home made food'. They definitely understand that Gluten allergies does not mean vegetarian and I absolutely adore the brownies! Meanest Gluten Free BLAT ever!
I can not comment on the pies apart from the fact that they are made on site and seem to be very popular.
Very good coffee also! Thanks Freckles cafe, we'll be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped into Freckles for breakfast around lunchtime. Service was friendly and quick. Coffee was excellent and the bacon and eggs was just right. Loved the grainy bread. Nice feel inside on the rainy day we stopped in too. Would love to try one of the pies or pastries in the future. They looked awesome but I was just feeling like ablate brekkie when we were there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great café. Had a piece of GF cake that was yummy and a coffee. First coffee they brought me was not what I wanted. I took it back to counter and said that it wasn't what I thought I had ordered. The nice young man behind the counter happily took it back and made me what I wanted. Be aware, there is seating in back - outside in a garden area. I missed the sign that said that, dooh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BEST ROLLS EVER! So filling, the buns are always cheesy fresh AND they put pickles in them. I'm in love. Such a fair price too. Their staff are always so smiley and chipper. I'd recommend swinging by Freckles if you're heading into town :)
