★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It seems as though most of the low ratings for this store are to do with delivery. I have only shopped at the store in person and have always found the staff to be helpful & friendly. Some items are possibly a little overpriced, even in the sale but there is a reasonable selection and I have always found what I’ve been looking for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent thousands on a lounge suite recently and paid for the warranty/cover for spillage. Split some coffee rang them. Get told we actually have to lodge it with another company that is based in Australia. Call them, it's Australia Day so closed. Call them back the next day and have to email evidence. Done. No reply. Call them again, they half apologise and arrange someone to come. No one comes. Ring them again and they say they've contacted a 'local' company. It's Auckland Anniversary by then so it's another day we can't contact anyone. That company finally gets in touch and says it'll be a few weeks before they can do the job - won't the stain be harder to remove??? Call the NZ company again a few days later after not hearing anything. Turns out they aren't local and are based over an hour an a half away and actually won't come to do the job at all. Ring Freedom to inform them. They tell me they "can't help" and I have to ring the Australian company again. What a joke. I've spent over 20k with Freedom in the last couple of years but this was probably my last purchase. You can't sell a warranty or service and not honour it and refuse any responsibility to fulfil it. Abysmal experience. Order number #6050020006434 Sort it out and I will consider amending my review

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I haven’t written a review before but I felt like I had to do it to save someone else… The worst customer service I have ever received by the manager(?) Rebekah. I ordered two lamps online and paid for them via the website. I selected click and collect and received an email the same day advising they were ready for collection. I drove out to pick them up only to be advised by one of the staff that only one lamp was ready but one was faulty so they had to wait for Rebekah to sign it off. I waited an awkward 20 minutes for her to finish what she was doing. Then she comes over to tell me I’ve never paid for them as she personally refunded the lamps and I couldn’t take them. I show her my emails and she aimlessly clicks on my emails trying to find backup for her explanation and can’t find anything… I show her my bank account which demonstrates that the money has been taken out. She relentlessly claims I haven’t paid for them and I can’t take them???? I’m left out of pocket and without the products and she practically shoos me out of the store claiming she will courier them tomorrow (maybe). This was all clearly Rebekah’s error and yet I received no real apology and no assertion that I will get the product that I paid for. Ridiculous.
