★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor service, not willing to listen to customer. Basically, according to Hamilton store’s staff, they’re like an online site, furniture gets delivered from warehouse (1 week or more ?) wait. No point going into the store, just wondering why they have one at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been waiting almost 6 months to receive a desk I purchased earlier this year.
They have never once contacted me proactively to tell me that there is a delay. I have always had to contact them for an update (which is difficult at best)
At one stage they told me it was ready to collect, and wasn't there at all once we had driven to Hamilton to pick it up.
This is the worst service I have ever experienced, and highly recommend against purchasing from this store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been lied to on multiple occasions about delivery times & where the furniture is. Will say anything in store to get you to pay, then couldn't care less about you or your order.
Useless communication, nobody will ever return a call or follow up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not Freedom Hamilton but online. purchased a $2000 bar package for our new outdoor area. Opened it xmas eve as wanted to set up for Xmas and the bar top was horribly damaged and wasnt the transport company as the packaging was pristine. Complained to Freedom and the 2 options they offered me were a $150 refund or $300 gift card but I had to still keep product. You don't spend that much to put a horrible chipped and gouged damaged table in. There are consumer laws in NZ. The Freedom experience has been horrid. Still awaiting a resolution.

It used to be one of my favorite homeware stores, now it seems that they do all they can to dissuade you from purchasing anything instore.
