He is clearly very skilled, thorough, passionate about what he does and so open to offer "hacks" to take home with you to look after your hair which I really appreciated.
I love the concept behind the store with fair pricing and quality hair products and his want to enhance what you have naturally rather than fighting it.
As someone who avoids going to the hairdresser from bad experiences in the past, I will be making regular visits, not just for the cut and style, but the great chat also!!!
Keep doing what you're doing Dan!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great first experience at Gallaghers last weekend. First hair cut in a couple of years. My hair was pretty damaged from previous years of bleaching and the ends weren't in the best condition. Dan did a beautiful classic cut and I left with perfect curls, volume and a hairstyle that I love thanks to Dan's experience, technique and knowledge.
Dan also made sure I left with some instructions on how to best care for my hair at home. Literally cost me $12 to buy product for this and I've been following it for a week and already noticing a huge difference. Highly recommend heading here to have your hair cut. No complaining about having to comb my curls. Great music, and good chat. Cheers Dan :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you have any issues with your hair, go and see Dan and he will accurately diagnose, repair, and give you a plan to resolve that doesn't involve him selling you lots of expensive products. Dan is incredibly knowledgeable and is generous in sharing that knowledge with you. He uses beautiful natural products and has a focus on natural styling which is refreshing. As long as I am in Wellington, I literally won't go anywhere else.
