Where it all started…
From a Dairy Flat Lime quarry to a successful garden media and fertiliser supplier based in Papakura... this is the journey that the Redvale brand has taken.
The Lime quarry on the main road at Dairy Flat West Auckland was formed in 1945 and was branded Redvale. When the lime quarry closed the retail service centre for Redvale shifted to the southern side of Auckland to the Bombay hills near Pokeno. On this site the range was extended to include other garden supplies in the decorative range.
In recent years the service and manufacturing centre has shifted to the site it now operates from on Hunua Rd, Papakura, South Auckland. A full range of growing requirements are distributed daily to Gard’n Gro customers under the Redvale brand from this site.
The enthusiastic owners Merv and Treena and their supportive team have successfully continued to grow the business. Merv and Treena love gardening and what better way to combine that than to invest in a company that does both.
Our vision is simple... offer quality products and make home gardening easy and simple.
