★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been to New Zealand twice now. We came and saw Garth and Jo last time and found them extremely friendly and helpful. We came away with some awesome Jade pieces and some helpful local info on places to camp and see. We came back this time with extended family and felt we had to take them to get there own pieces. The experience this time was equally as good as last time. Everyone came away happy. They are lovely people, and Garth's Jade carvings have a much more personalized touch than any gift store purchased Jade.

I am so impressed with Garth Wilson Jade for a few reasons, the communication between Jo and myself was superb. She did a great job of explaining the designs they have on offer and there was a feeling like they genuinely care about their work and their customers.
I hope that when I'm able to return to New Zealand that I'll be able to come here to Greymouth and see the beautiful pounamu for myself. Thank you again.

If you want a jade that is hand carved by someone who has the right, knowledge and passion to do so Garth and Jo are your pick and will help you all the way to choose the right piece and explain you the meanings and traditions behind it. So nice to meet and spend some time with people who love what they're doing and they're doing it for their family. Had an extra chat with them and was great!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Garth does fantastic work, and we felt good to be able to support a local artist and not a huge corporation or large shop. Garth was on vacation, so we only interacted with Jo. However, she did a great job of explaining the shop, how Garth works, and telling us the Maori traditions around greenstone. I 100% recommend this shop!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came to your little shop a few years ago I got my youngest son a carving while on holiday in nz. the craving still looks like new. and the string hasn't frayed. before I found this carver I went to about 10 other places while in nz looking for a craving. but when I found this place I knew it was the one, all the carvings on display where very good quality. a nice family run buiness, with polite customer service and alot of information given to customers. keep going forward because your work is brilliant .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful high quality pieces all made at the showroom, and sourced from the West coast of NZ by Garth and his whanau who have customary rights to collect the pounamu. Stop and chat about where each pounamu was found and learn about the carving process. Great selection of styles colours and designs with different meanings.

He was nice to offer a small carving onto the toki I selected which depicted my journey and the support and connection with family. They have a good selection and invite you to watch them work and took the time to explain their process and how they work. I'm very happy with my purchase and happily recommend Garth and his wife's work to anyone considering it.
