★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have stayed here at least 10 times and over the last 5 times things not as good as before. No top sheet on one stay. Freezer totally frozen so can't use heater didn't work. Tonight here again and the jug does not work. Is a good motel but something is lacking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped off for lunch with my colleagues who were in the area for work(5 in total). The kitchen staff were great who brought my meal out and my coffee, although the front cashier had extremely poor customer skills. I asked for a receipt to claim back my expenses from work, but it was too hard for the cashier to process. I even asked to take a photo of her printed receipt kept in the till as she couldn't reprint which I understood. The tone that I recieved was so negative, there were only two people she served after me so it wasn't hard for her to find the receipt and let me take a photo of it which would have taken 2 seconds.
When my colleague was served after me (she brought a water bottle), she asked her if she wanted a receipt with it, in a snarky tone! I spent $25 at that Cafe that day which I thought was a reasonable spend to get a receipt for.
I will never return there and I will also inform my friends and family not to dine there. (We did not stay at the accommodation, we only dined in at "The Coffeepot")

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good spot to stop off and get a fast feed and rest on your way north (or south) while traveling. Recommend for when you need a toilet stop or a pie to get you back on your feet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place to share a bite and a drink with friends. The setting at the Stone Store is great. Make sure to stop look at the pear tee planted in 1819.
