★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have just had a lovely weekend staying at the Alpine Pacific Holiday Park in Kaikoura. We were given a lovely welcome and had a great powered site. The grounds and facilities are very well maintained, the park was quiet, wifi was excellent and we really enjoyed our stay. The pool and hot tubs are great and the location within comfortable walking distance of the town, cafes and supermarket was ideal. Thank you for having us and our wee dog, we look to forward to coming to stay again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is nice in itself but it is the people that make all the difference for us.
Elise, Lou and Lee are a joy to talk to. We are welcomed back every time with the same enthusiasm, love and affection that we received the first time around.
They are considerate of our requirements, flexible with our requests, and go the extra mile to ensure we are comfortable in every way.
The place itself is pet friendly, comfortable and pretty modern. The kitchen and toilets and also modern and very clean. Town is walkable - but Kaikoura is a relatively small town anyway.
Special shoutout to Elise. She just takes the energy and excitement in a conversation to a whole new level. In addition to the sunrises and sunsets, we look forward to meeting with Elise!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow this place is fantastic! We stayed in an ensuite studio unit for 4 nights and it was perfect. So lovely and quiet with a lovely park like setting. Enjoyed the jacuzzi, the pool a little cold for us but was lovely. Will definitely be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely park to stay in with pool and spa which was much needed after our 4 hr peninsula walk. We were on a power site with our tent and while we had enough room as we didnt need to park a car we found the actual sites are a little on the small side esp if you have a bigger tent or caravan which needs an awning. Good thing the staff asked at booking how big the tent was. Will definitely stay here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So we booked 3 of the 'deluxe' rooms we were provided with plates cutlery cups etc but nothing to cook with. Must pay extra for this. Dishes must be done but no sink. No soap for the shower. The fridges were all off when we got there. Bed was hard as a rock. The places was nice but not very well thought out. And there is extra costs for almost everything. We come down to do a fishing charter which was cancelled but most of us still wanted to go anyway. Tried to cancel one room and were told no refund would be given. I feel for what was somewhere around $160 or so a night that there would be a bit more. Also powered and unpowered caravans are charged the same which was bloody expensive for a non power site for our friends.
