★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is such a unique outting off the beaten track, and soooo many glowworms. It's really just a public road between two steep cliff faces, not a cave or anything like that.
My recommendation is park in the designated parking (on the map) and walk down to the park at the end of the road. If you get there just after sunset, you'll have some time to find your way around and then you can sit by the river as it gets darker. About an hour after sunset it's dark enough that you'll really see a lot of glowworms and you can walk back to your car.
It is really dark and deserted is it is kinda creepy, take a friend. But well worth it for the spectacle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really beautiful. But to be aware, it is in the middle of nowhere and pitch black out. You walk down between 2 cliffs to see the glowworms, which was magical. But because it was just myself and my partner, two women alone. It did feel quite scary!
