Kristina, the nurse has been amazing since day one and made me change the way i think about the whole experience. Honestly though, a lot of frustrations can be avoided if patients are well informed of wait times or if there are emergency patients that needs to be seen first.

Excellent and prompt service for a walk in non-resident. Was seen by a very professional nurse first, who then referred me onto Dr Thwaites who was brilliant. They also managed to squeeze me in last minute even though they technically didn’t have room in the schedule because I was leaving Christchurch that evening. Highly recommended!

I have been enrolled at The Christchurch Doctors and of recent have been seeing Dr Rachelle Pound. She has been professional, knowledgeable, caring and has helped me with my queries/concerns. Highly recommend!

This is a great place. The doctor(I met) and staff are friendly. I’ve been there twice to meet Dr.Karen Lamb. She is such a patient doctor who listens to you and patiently explains things. She didn’t prescribe any unnecessary tests or medication. She is a very good doctor. I wouldn’t want to go to any other GP.

Such a horrible place. We been waiting for our GP to amend a insurance form. We been calling and emailing for a month now. And today when we called reception they advised us to coming to the clinic to see the doctor to get the letter. Noone want to visit a clinic if not sick during COVID level 2. We are not coming into just fix paperwork. Pls hire some sensible people who don't give out stupid advice like this. 24/05 - 5 star for the doctor. But 0 for the front desk staffs. They been messing up our insurance for all past visits. We have provided the insurance card, they have patient there also record in their system still they ended up putting the insurance under the wrong account hold. Took me 50 min on phone with Southern cross for sorting this out. I was asked to talk loud as they said they couldn't hear me then they were like can you calm down. I was calm throughout just wanted to know what was going on but your front desk staff is just confusing and rude again. They just pushed us way like it's not their problem but clearly they been messing it up since the beginning.

While I’ve always had good experiences with the nurses here the doctor I saw was truly careless and rude. Rachelle Pound was specifically recommend to me as a GP with experience in mental health. I cannot stress enough to avoid seeing her if you’re needing help with mental health as her lack of empathy or understanding absolutely astounded me. Not only do I doubt her experience with mental health I really don’t think she should be working with people at all. I don’t want to dive in to my medical details but it takes a lot to open up to a doctor and ask for help and it really was all for nothing. Rachelle ignored many of the concerns I brought to her, and when I politely questioned why her suggestions contradicted or ignored what I’d told her about my condition, I was kicked out of my appointment for β€œabusive language” and made to pay full price despite receiving no care. This was a shocking 180 from our new patient appointment where she seemed to listen and take on my concerns. Rachelle showed no sympathy for her actions and while the nursing and reception staff were apologetic she personally didn’t even make an attempt to apologise. She wasted my time, my money, and my energy all which were already fairly limited due to my health concerns and I now don’t feel comfortable continuing to attend this clinic as a result.

The receptionist lost my enrollment form twice! (!!!), then there were many confusions about how much I need to pay for the first time. Such a mess. I wanted to enroll there because my friend recommended one of their doctors, but he just forwarded me to a "female doctor" because he didn't want to deal with breastfeeding issues. I thought I would see her just once, but no, he actually asked to move me to another doctor for good. And I didn't like her at all. Now, the question was, why would I pay ridiculous enrollment fees, then "first appointment fees", just to find that the doctor I chose is afraid of dealing with female issues.

Very happy with joining The Christchurch Doctors. The staff are lovely (My doctor is very caring and approachable, and the nurses are always super friendly). The admin staff are nice too. There's normally not much of a wait which is great as well (not always but most of the time!) Keep up the great work :)
