★ ★ ★ ★ ★ dear hospital team, i hope one day this letter will reach the right person... since my good doctor struan left i don't know who to contact with my problem. i talked to rachel cowie (right name?) and just recently to two very young doctor-apprentices about my very bad knee problems. every one i asked for help suggested an x-ray in nelson to get a better understanding of what exactly is wrong. so far so good... but nothing happened. at least 2 years ago struan promised to get me to nelson for that x-ray, i'm still waiting and try to cope with the pain. living of pain killers is not my preferred way of ending my life. so... PLEASE do something, get me an appointment for that all-important x-ray and than we might get a better understanding and maybe i can get a replacement of both knees.... its now more than 2 years that struggle with this increasing painful situation without any decent help.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have an elderly mother staying here. The staff here are wonderful caring friendly people. The facilities are modern and clean. The location in the country side is perfect for my mother to feel at home. Couldn't ask for more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in with a severely broken foot. No x-ray offered. Sent home with no crutches. Couldn't shower, eat walk or even go toilet properly. Nobody checked in. No aftercare. Nothing. Leg still killing me after 8 days.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can understand more and more why people are unhappy with the health system in New Zealand. Went there to get a prescription for some eyedrops. The doctor didn’t even look at my eyes and told me to wait until it gets better... payed 150 Nzd for this advice.
