★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visiting Stewart Island was an experience I never thought I would have. Just disappointed thee are no 'arty farty' people there with arts and crafts to look at and buy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small wharf mainly for taking the ferry or water taxi to ulva island (I heard the water taxi can bring you to any of the surrounding islands). The ferry is larger and is $20 return, the water taxi is faster and is $27 return. There isn’t anything else here really, not a place to lounge or spend the day. I was lucky I was there on a stunning calm day and the view was amazing while waiting for the water taxi.
