Gong cha NZ was established early 2015 as the Master Franchise in New Zealand that gives the rights and authorization to the franchisee to use the Brand and sell the products in any part of New Zealand. We will pursue the same values as Gong cha Taiwan:
Quality, Tasty, Safety, and Customer Satisfaction. We will also aim to publicize Gong cha which symbolizes the best-valued tea to the public.
So now not only can you savour the amazing tea that is Gong cha in Taiwan, you can enjoy the rich, creamy taste of our delicious bubble milk tea in Auckland and everywhere else throughout the region. At the time of writing, there are 20 outlets in New Zealand.
Gong cha has opened 16 stores in the Auckland wide, and 10 stores in other regions. In 2022, we aim to develop and penetrate Gong cha brand to other part of the regions as the goal, to widen Gong cha throughout the nations and educate locals for better understanding of the Gong cha brand story and beverage characteristics. Most importantly, normalise the concept of ‘bubble tea drinking’ concept to everyday New Zealand life.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The tea was nice but the customer service is terrible. All staff seems to be angry all the time and very rude. If someone else open another store next to them and give much better customer experience i.e friendliness, they will thrive. It is New Zealand after all... everyone most of the people i met are very friendly compared to rest of the Europe countries I have travelled. This store completely blew that image out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered the latest strawberry drink last night. My friend wanted to add pearl for the toppings but the guy said we can’t. I was trying to ask him the reason why, but he won’t answer properly and feels like he’s just babbling words. He was rude for turning his back to us and left us with no answer. Your management needs to train you on how to properly communicate with your customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a little miscommunication with our order, the lady’s were so lovely to make a new one, and instead of throwing the ,wrong one‘ out they gave it to my hubby to have and try! To say as well, I think I was reading the order wrong and should have double checked so not there fault!! Was lovely that they have this amazing costumer service! Will be back when we‘re in Hamilton again ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ive been goong to this store since it opened.The drink quality is awesome, staff is nice and friendly. They've many options. It's a spacious store where you can chill and relax while enjoying your drink, lovely ambience. Another good part is it's open late. I wish there were more non diary milk options ?. I also wish they start taking phone orders soon as it will be quite convenient. I would definitely visit again and recommend it.?
