★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well-priced tasty food, tidy dining area. Toilets were passable but extractor fan was quite loud and toilet needed a bit more TLC in terms of cleanliness. Coffee was a bit strong but OK. Staff member who served me, likely one of the owners, was pleasant but not friendly per se. Overall decor was simplistic and in need of updating. Would visit again. Place feels like it could be more but lacks the enthusiasm and vision to take it up a notch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good to get a hot meal when we really hungry. Ordered the “Kiwi breakfast” which was decent. Maybe ask for a couple extra grilled tomatoes to balance out the saltiness of the bacon and eggs?
I was pretty grateful to find this spot on a road trip up from Hamilton at 2.30pm, way past my lunchtime!! So thanks for the food, Gordonton.
