About Zenders Cafe and Venue
We would like to pass on the universal appreciation for hosting our event so professionally. We continue to receive emails and phone calls from friends and family, all of whom rave about the venue, the staff and the food.
By far the favourite was the food, closely followed by the venue itself which suited every age in our party (3 - 95 years) so well. Yet everyone also mentions the friendly, helpful staff as well.
So we would have absolutely no hesitation in referring anyone to use your beautiful venue for their own event.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place for breakfast! Had their French Toast with fresh strawberries and blueberries which was really nice. They had a variety of options including vegetarian which my friend had. Service was good as well. Would definitely visit again.

Excellent coffee and always great service. The venue itself and the atmosphere is always very inviting and we always enjoy our visits and look forward too returning. Thank you Zenders

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed in the Sweet Pancakes which were obviously a reheated product. Very leathery product and outside edge dry, tough and inedible. I love pancakes and was surprised to get a second rate product in a Dutch Cafe. Waitress very pleasant and friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It takes a lot to please me as a fussy eater, very happy with my brunch. I had the mini breakfast. It was very tasty. Only downside was no butter for the toast.
The lil ginger nut with the coffee was full of flavour. Yummy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice cafe with comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Place is well decorated and the outside gardens are beautifully kept. The inside dining room is full of natural light and has lots of windows offering lovely views of the grounds.
Lots to choose from on the menu and a small cabinet selection. I enjoyed the mushroom medley and an iced latte, good espresso. If you’re looking for something new/different in Hamilton, I would say this is a great spot for any special occasion. I subtracted 1 star as I feel the prices are slightly higher than similar offerings in Hamilton.
There is ample parking, clean toilets and they offer wifi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place and atmosphere, inside. Totally different story outside, plain hot in the middle of summer day. Maybe looks nice for functions, but it was plain next to nothing to see besides car park and corn fields.
From what I tasted: Bami (fried noodle) - not much else beside the obvious curry flavour. Totally let down the whole 'Dutch' style of fried noodle expectations. I have tasted better instant Mi Goreng (Indomie) that was made in 2 minutes or less, drunk. And what's with the 5-6 pieces of plain steamed (?) chicken for extra $5+? And to make matter worse, they dump in lots of vegies, that cucumber really washed out the miniscule flavour it has to begin with. You also can't call that 2-3cm pieces of noodle -if 'noodle' has minimum length requirement. 2/10
The Kroket maybe my highlight of the day. Lovely beef taste and mayo side 8/10.
Loaded potato - nothing special, just bunch of generic thick cut chips topped with some sauce that gone by the 1st layer of potato. 6/10.
Beside the food, they have great staffs and very friendly service. 10/10 on that department.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing experience! Always lovely environment here, and the staff are so personable. Couldn't rate the dutch style pancakes highly enough (both sweet and savoury). A very delicious brunch as we venture our way around the country!
