★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very inexperienced staff. We picked up 10 items of clothes and out of that 2 of them came up with the wrong price than what was on the tag when scanned (4x the price).
The attendant did not know how to speak to a customer and simply said it wasn't her problem and that they were a "big store" so these errors were normal??... It wasn't until we involved the manager where this mistake was corrected.
A shame we had to escalate. Staff should be trained to handle this sort of thing and offer empathy to the customer's frustration - even as they were about to be charged for parking due to the unfortunate delay. Kudos to the manager for sorting it out.
Nevertheless, a good selection of clothes in an open and vibrant store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WORST customer service I have ever received from a retail store. When I was in this store today shopping, two staff members were arguing right in front of me on the shop floor about who is going to tidy the fitting rooms. At the changing room the two girls were talking to each other about how they cant wait to go home soon! When I get to the counter to purchase my items I ask the guy serving if he can please check if there is another size in the jacket I wanted. He said its only whats on the rack and I explained to him that I understand that but the jacket was in several places around the shop so I just wanted him to check if they had it and I was happy to go searching for it myself. He did not even want to check on the computer for me and continued to say "there probably isn't one"(?!?!?). No one ever greets you in this H&M store, all the staff avoid customers. This makes me so disappointed because when I worked in retail it was so important to actually greet and help customers and it seems like this company has truely forgotten this. I hate going into this place now. They need completely new staff, If I could give it 0 stars I would.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Product variety and pricing are truly excellent. H&M has earned the title of 'better Cotton On' in New Zealand. However, here at H&M HOME, the employees are all students who are dead inside, seemingly too cool to want to interact with their customers. They seem to spend all their time avoiding work and talking to each other, openly swearing and laughing obnoxiously. Maybe they're not getting paid enough to talk to customers or answer customers' questions, or maybe they just shouldn't be hired by anyone ever. I think it's the latter.
A little smile never hurt nobody, but terrible people do hurt shopping experiences.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A baby had seemed to soil itself in the kids section and the staff told them kindly to clean their child and they sprayed the whole store. My son and I had a great laugh with the staff and they were great with recommendations for his school social dance outfits to make him look cool and swaggy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful store! Very professional staff who all have great customer service. They were very helpful when I needed advice on what to buy my partner for his birthday. I don't see why others seem to have a problem, but thank you H&M Newmarket! I'll definitely be coming back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had given 2 of the 15% off vouchers for my purchase (June 1 @ 6:30pm). The brown haired lady at the men's department POS looked thru the receipt after the transaction but did not tell me she only used 1 of the vouchers and just nodded like everything was correct. I only realized when I was on the way home that she only used 1 voucher. She could have just been honest that she forgot and gave my voucher back. It's more frustrating that she had looked through it and realized the mistake but did not state. I work in customer service too and I would have just corrected myself or told the customer. Staff's laziness or indifference?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big showroom. More choices. Fitting rooms are tidy and clean. Customer friendly. Parking in the mall is expensive.
Lighting is great, you can find clothing for men section in 1st floor, women section in ground floor. You have kids clothing too.
The most attractive part was..... escalators are available inside the showroom, so imagine the size of the store.
You have entry directly from the street to the store (through ground floor).
A supersets entrance from 1st floor through the mall. Temperature in the showroom is well maintained.
