★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good healthy food, friendly staff and clean premises. Minor gripes are that the music is often loud, the chairs are not very comfortable and the prices are above average. Better for take out than dine in. Fast service and excellent choice of healthy food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately not a good experience. This place was a regular lunch place for me until recently. I had found a website stating that Habitual Fix offer people on their birthday a free smoothie. I thought great and went along to the store with the article showing the gift and ID to prove birthday. When I inquired with staff member was rudely told "know nothing of this, go to head office". That was easier said than done, website email address was incorrect, I phoned head office at my cost, was given another email address, this also didn't work, phoned back and gave my details for them to contact me. I was totally floored by the response from head office, they don't give free smoothies despite the numerous articles online, I was made to feel I was wrong and therefore in the end I told them I felt let down and very frustrated. Not long after they explained they did actually give out free smoothies, was planning to make this more known and if I provided my address they would give me a free lunch. Yeah right 3 weeks now, nothing despite two further emails giving my details. The manager has my two different emails, physical address for both my work and home, and my work and mobile phone number, no further response. Feel very let down and will find a new place to eat plus my word of mouth will be negative of course.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I do like this particular Habitual Fix. The staff are friendly and efficient. Even though its been a while since I visited they greeted me like a long lost friend. Being a chain the menu is the same everywhere so it really is the staff that make it. The fact that Habitual Fix publish their menu online with the ingredients and calories is also important to me as I do need to maintain my boyish good looks!

Their packaging and stores are covered with words like 'Fresh' and 'honest', which is a far cry from what is presented to you. I ordered a BLT bagel which got handed to me with bacon in it that I wouldn't have served when it was fresh, let alone the condition it was in when it made it into my lunch.
I came in wanting a tasty and fresh bagel and left knowing id never find that at this establishment, or any of the other franchisees for that matter.

The gentleman greeted me and noticed my inexperienced eyes looking across the menu. He showed me a paper copy of the menu for easier viewing. Very polite.
I picked the manwich and ginger turmeric zing drink.
There were only Two people working and they seemed busy making a group lunch or something as they were preparing a big order. But when I ordered he made sure to prioritize my meal so it was finished a second after paying. Very lovely.
The meal however, was a bit bland. I'm pretty sure they used ham instead of bacon as written on the menu. The chicken schnitzel was a weird lukewarm temperature and it clashed with some of the other items in the meal. It was okay, but wouldn't order it again.
Also, the shop itself is a bit odd, the seating reminds me of a busy food court, very impersonal and placed far apart each other, sterile and not too inviting.
Lastly, I was very impressed and pleased to see they recycle properly.
Again, it walked a strange line between good and bad. With some finesse, this place could be wonderful. But for now, I might just go elsewhere, although it was a nice experience.
