About Hamills Taupo - Fishing and Hunting Specialists
Sadly, on 30 November 2018, a tragic arson attack on an adjacent store resulted in Hamills being gutted by fire and all stock was lost – only two weeks shy of our one-year anniversary. The plan was to celebrate by throwing a BBQ, but we didn’t want to light up the whole shop!
After a year of rebuilding, we were thrilled to reopen at the end of 2019 and the shop is now looking better than ever, complete with your old favourites as well as a few new products on board. We pride ourselves on offering something for everyone – from lower price points to top quality, handmade New Zealand products. We have everything you need for your outdoor adventures and something for everyone in the family (even newborns!).
