★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent 4 days at this Auckland Cottage as our first port-o-call in new Zealand.
The place set in a quiet garden at the back of a vintage colonial New Zealand home, was charming, full of character, beautifully decorated and included almost everything you can think of as if you were at home. We particularly enjoyed our homemade delicious breakfast on the terrace made by a French Chef (No lunch was necessary after these). The Cottage is conveniently close to the shops and restaurants of Onehunga Village as well as the Airport. A 20 minute train ride gives you direct access to the City Centre. The nearby beach is unfortunately tidal but is just 5 minutes walk away. Attention to details at the Cottage made us feel very special and included complimentary drinks and nibbles as well as chocolates and fresh flowers. It was like "home away from home"...
The owners were very friendly and helpful by helping us to organise our trips around Auckland and its region, recommending places to visit as well as restaurants. The place being so handy, it took us less than 5 minutes by taxi to attend a music concert at the Mt Smart Stadium near by and dining at "The Landing" (One of the many restaurants in Onehunga) was a convenient 15 minute walk.
We also particularly enjoyed (and recommend) walking to the top of One Three Hill to enjoy the views over Auckland region and a day trip to Waiheke Island, its beaches and vineyards.
Overall, our stay was a wonderful and "relaxed" experience to be highly recommended to anyone on business or vacation.
A 5 out of 5 star rating for us!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were so pleased with this cottage that within 15mins of being there were got it for another night! The host was wonderful, he family wonderful,( they were very discreet) and yet it’s was a private French cottage that was super clean,and wonderfully comfortable! There was food in walking distance and some lovely restaurants, and wonder view of the bay. We also had a parking spot! We stayed in some other hotels but this is by for the best! Thank you so much!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked this property for a night prior to us leaving the country, with a week to go it was cancelled, I think it may be because I was asked for a photo of my credit card, which I refused to do, I gave photo ID and vaccination pass and I paid a deposit, I was also asked to email a copy of my credit card, which I refused to do, I offered to pay the balance in full by direct credit, the result was our cancellation

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Exceptional! what a magical place to stay. Our family loved every detail of the cottage, from the cosy interior,s amazing gardens and perfect location. Close to amenities/the city/cornwall park/motorway and the airport.
Geoffroy and Janine are incredible hosts, so kind and thoughtful, nothing was ever a problem.
will definitely be staying again. Thank you!

Clever layout that makes the small area feel spacious.
Shame about the weather during our stay, because the grounds look very inviting and well kept.
