Very disappointing, advertised that they had only one phone on line that I wanted which I had them put aside, the add on the net didn't say that it was locked to vodafone, made a special trip for nothing. Buses aren't cheap.

Received a couch manufactured over seas and found it to be damaged on delivery Friday, emailed images, informed management immediately. Have been told that someone will be in touch to arrange a time to visit & inspect the damage.(why?) Damage is damage. I have requested the couch to be replaced or money to be put back into our account. keep you posted. Brent

Never had a problem buying online. The only thing that upset me was we were buying a lounge suite on credit. Because I was retired it was a real hassle. The finance company weren't helpful one bit. Got it sorted after I stormed out of shop. Put it in hubbys name. All good so far.

Very poor customer service experience. I've been shouted at by male Indian staff, another Indian male staff sells me a faulty camera, store refuses to replace. I got forced to pay for the repairs. Its taken 6 weeks to get the camera back. I call the store they hang up on me. I go into the store. I get told I have to wait for a staff to come back from lunch. I regret spending over $4000. buying your products. Your staff are just bullies and out to make a sale with a horrible attitude.

If there was 6 stars for service I would use 6 stars as Steve was super professional and helpful and that was one of the reasons why we decided to make a purchase as well as the quality of the item. Hubby and myself wish all the best to Steve in his business and hope that his company bosses are aware of what asset he is to this company. Thank you.

We bought avery expensive mattress 3 years ago(king size Tempure) which has 10 years warranty. Now the mattress is a bit deep in the middle and Harvey Norman refer us to the company and don't care about its customers. The mattress company says:"Tempur is a viso-elastic foam that performs due to Temperature and Weight Overtime the material will soften in the areas in which are used more often, this does not deem that the product is faulty. The indentation reading supplied is less than 2cm and therefore not warrantable." Which means the 1cm dept in the mattress doesn't matter as long as we dont get lost in it! They don't mention these conditions when you buy the mattress! They just mention 10 years warranty!

In April 2019 I went to Harvey Norman Lincoln Rd and bought some furniture, a dining table, a five real leather five 5-seater lounge suite and bed etc. The chairs were $210 each and sofa $3399. Next day when delivered the lounge suite leather had scratches on it and the chairs were faulty – the legs were crooked had cracks on them and after a few days seating they started to loosen and wobble. After contacting and visiting the Store numerous times and waited for months, they repaired the lounge suite and the chairs. A few months after that in January 2020, the chairs started to squeak badly. We then took them back to the Store requesting a replacement. The manager in the store at that time advised that with this type of quality issues they offer to repair 3 times and if still faulty after that they provide full refund. We therefore agreed and let them repair the chairs again. During Year 2021 the chairs start to have the same issues again, we took them back to the store. When we expressed our concerns that the chairs may give safety hazards as they may break when someone’s seating, the manager said it would be completely our fault as we did not look after the chairs! This is unacceptable and we stood our grounds and escalated with their boss then the chairs were repaired again. Now in Year 2022, the chairs problems came back and when we took them back to the store again, the new manager simply told us that it’s now gone past the two years warranty period and Consumer Guarantees Act don’t apply anymore and they won’t do anything about the chairs! I said that the previous manager told us that they would repair the chairs 3 times and if still faulty, return and refund them. He just told us that he don’t know what the previous manager said and don’t care! As a long term Harvey Norman customer I went there for furniture because I recognise the brand value that Harvey Norman has. After these dealings I had with the Harvey Norman staff and the customer experience I received I am extremely appalled and disappointed! The Consumer Guarantees Act says products must be durable and last a reasonable length of time – the new chairs should not start to wobble and squeak and pose safety risk after 3 months of normal use! The Harvey Norman website says β€œIf the goods (or services) we supply do not comply with a consumer guarantee, but can be remedied within a reasonable time, we will either repair the goods or replace the goods with goods of identical type. If we cannot repair or replace the goods within a reasonable time, we will provide you with a refund of the purchase price. A 'major failure' is where the failure in the goods cannot be repaired or cannot be repaired within a reasonable time, or where the failure constitutes a 'failure of substantial character' as set out by section 21 of the CGA. If a failure amounts to a major failure, you are entitled to return the goods and choose to have a replacement of the returned goods or a refund. Alternatively, you may elect to retain the goods and obtain compensation for the reduction in value of the goods. Where you choose a replacement, we will where available, provide goods of the same type and similar value to the returned goods.” The chairs are unusable and potentially have safety risk. I therefore demand Harvey Norman to return the chairs and provide full refund!

Well versed salesperson. No push tactics. He was genuine in his approach. No pressure sales or exaggeration. We felt comfortable and bought the items because of well stated benefits and not so good features of the product. So we knew what we were buying. It gives piece of mind.
