β β β β β Great bar and atmosphere, staff always friendly - shame about people leaving reviews around the fact they are trying to be accomodating to all. Think I better pop in for a beer

β β β β β This place rules. One of the first crafty places in town and have fully deserved legend status. Great beers. Great pies. A great place.

β β β β β 5 Star review to help counter all the anti vax nutjobs. Also fantastic bar, awesome beer (a lot of interesting beers you cant find anywhere else) and great cosy vibe.

β β β β β I've been here a few times and enjoyed it and don't mind if vaccine passes are required or not, but the owner was on the radio the other morning and by the sounds of things if your not a 'regular' your not welcome. Plus all the snarky replies to all the bad reviews don't look good either, he must have the maturity of a 5 year old.

β β β β β LOVE Hashigo Zake - awesome ever-changing selection of beers, Japanese liquor, delicious snacks, friendly and knowledgeable staff and an intimate, comfy atmosphere to enjoy it all in. So good I almost want to keep it a secret. Plus they have great music on weekends and film nights too!

β β β β β Great place (loved visiting here in the years i lived in Welly), and exceptional online content giving one star reviewers all the respect they deserve. Hopefully you continue to serve up both excellent food and excellent smackdowns for many happy years.

β β β β β Has always, and will always be top of my list when I get to Wellington.
The home of craft beer in Wellington (in my opinion) and an all round good vibe.
Get along, itβs a great business to support

β β β β β Was last here 6 years ago. It hasn't changed. It's still excellent with thoughtfully chosen beers to suit all, not just a tap list loaded with IPA. Very good to see the covid safety measures in place by an owner who takes his and his customers' welfare seriously. Don't miss this place on a Wellington beer trip
