★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty disappointed in the "One room heat transfer kit"
I expected it to be loud but I also expected to be able to adjust the fan speed to find a good balance. Despite the touch screen controller showing fan speed control on the product packaging, It's actually just a 1 speed fan, either ON at full speed or OFF. No where on the box does it say the fan is a single speed fan. All it says is "150mm High Performance Axial Fan". The fan itself is just an off the shelf bathroom fan from another company (FAN0085-Manrose Hyper150).
Feeling pretty annoyed but the unit was already installed so we had to push on, The touchscreen 'works' but quickly realized it doesn't actually turn the unit off, either in manual mode, auto or schedule mode. Potentially a faulty relay or possibly just user error in programming it. We decided if two engineers and an electrician can't work it out, and its a single speed fan anyway then we might as well just use a plain old light switch.
I will eventually replace the fan and controls with an adjustable one but for now i guess it's better than nothing.
