★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a "silent" fan, ducting and thermostat w/remote and installed this at my house.
Found the fan to produce a reasonable amount of noise (at lest 10-15dB more than stated) and the thermostat controller completely useless as it doesnt have the ability to switch off the fan at a set temperature?!
What annoyed me the most was the complete lack of response from Ming Fans when I emailed them explaining the issues above.
I would not recommend purchasing from this company

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have an old model DVS positive pressure ventilation system. The fan bearings had gone and DVS told me they could not service the unit but offered to provide a new latest model for $2000+. Looking for a 3rd party to service it, I found Mingfans in Mt Wellington and took my unit to him. He replaced the motor/fan unit in the old housing for under $300 while I waited. Works just fine now. Thank you for your fast polite service and great pricing.
